Vocational Schools

The vocational schools aim to educate young people to be able to get a job or start out with self‐employment, so that each student becomes well educated in his or her craft or vocation and gains the skill, courage and will to become independent economically.

 

  

 


 

As a Development Instructor, some of your task will be:

 

Subject teacher

As a part of your job you will be a teacher or an assistant teacher in one or more school subjects.

 

Skills teacher

Assist or lead the agriculture, construction, tailoring or another skill related courses.

 

DMM responsible

You will be responsible for boosting the DMM teaching method at the school.

 

Evening and weekend teacher

You will be responsible for evening and weekend programs for the students.

 

Partnership and sponsorship

Raise funds for the operation and expansion of the school by identifying possible partners, meeting with them, finding out in what way they can support the school, negotiating with the partners and writing proposals to partners.

 

Special events manager

As a part of your job you may be a special events manager. Actions like building weekends, Open Sundays, sports tournaments, etc.

 

Boarding master assistant

As a part of your job you will together with the students and the boarding master be responsible for the daily practical tasks at the school like cleaning, cooking, gardening, economy, maintenance.

 

 

You will work with:

  • Teachers
  • Teenagers
  • Community members
